God’s Grace Empowerment Centres

Empowering lives, igniting potential and inspiring the youth
of Uganda through the transformative principles of the
Future of Learning Template.

Our vision is to reach out and help the needy, save lives of those who are perishing through ignorance and improve the standard of our community. Right now we have four church branches  as we continue to plant more and open many Schools once we have the resources.

About God’s Grace International Christian Ministries

To support and uplift our communities, we have established God’s Grace Empowerment Centres — dedicated spaces where young people in remote Ugandan villages can develop essential life skills, literacy, numeracy and English language proficiency. Each centre blends practical, hands-on activities with formal learning to help every individual discover their unique strengths and passions, guiding them toward meaningful, sustainable careers and promote the love of learning.

“Everyone learns differently, and traditional schooling doesn’t suit every child. The idea behind Empowerment Centres is that we provide alternative subjects, which can help a child find their skills and passions.

We have found at Kashanda that since we introduced alternative subjects like Fashion and design, Hair Salon and Agriculture, the children and staff have been happier. A happy child can learn much better than a sad or stressed child. A happy teacher will find their life runs a lot better and can give more attention to their students.

Children can create project portfolios that showcase the skills they have gained and these portfolios can be presented to future employers, customers or further education establishments/universities.

Empowerment Centres are not just for the children. Once established, we can offer adult courses like English and Agriculture. Skilled experts can come and demonstrate their skills and teach others. The elders can come and share their stories with the children. The only limit is our imagination.

Each centre will be set up according to the available resources and skills in the community. It is up to the community how their centre is run, how it is built and what services it provides.

I (Generous) can come and look at your community, speak to your people and recommend a plan for you that is tailored to your community’s needs. Between us we can work out budgets, costs for services etc.

So let’s empower our children, let’s empower the community. We can do this!”

Future plans:

  • For Empowerment Centres to be recognised all over the world as the future of learning and support for all the community
  • To have well furnished Empowerment Centre buildings from Nursery to University, as now we have only Nursery and Primary,
  • To have resources in the Empowerment Centres to provide technical and professional studies
  • To link the Health and Support centres to the Empowerment centres

Below is a list of articles that have been created from the communication with Generous.

If you would like to support the children at God’s Grace Empowerment Centres, there are a few straightforward ways to donate. All donations are passed directly to the Empowerment Centre organisers and are used to support the children’s daily needs, learning, and wellbeing. There is no middleman, ensuring your contribution reaches the centres clearly and transparently.
