Our 4th Empowerment Centre

Please support us get the 4th Empowerment centre set up. Small gestures of support can help us in many ways, as we are taking advantage of the exchange rate and the funds go direct to the founder, Generous.

Our 4th Empowerment centre is under construction and as you can see from the photos below we are preparing the land, toilet, shacks and the walls of the main classroom. The children are excited to be at the centre. They would just be bored at home because their parents cannot afford for them to go to a government school.

We have also been gifted the use of 14 acres of land by grandparents of two of the children. In Uganda many ‘people are land rich but poor in resources’. With this land we can teach the children farming and produce our own food. We just need to buy some seeds and ask for volunteers to do the heavy work.

It is comforting to think, that in the future this centre will be self-sufficient. However, we still might have to rely on kind hearted people to donate as not all parents can afford for their children to attend the centre.
