The Forth Empowerment Centre due soon!
Generous has been very busy in Uganda. The Empowerment Centres are a hit with the parents, and children. The children are so happy with this type of learning. There is a lot of demand for the centres, so much so, that the forth Empowerment Centre will be set up in the Village of Amur at the beginning of September 2024 also in north Uganda.
Already, 272 children have been enrolled in this new centre so this will be the biggest centre so far!
They have been clearing the land and have some materials for a temporary shelter. They already have a hall for the Nursery which is ideal, as 100 of the enrolled children are of nursery age. They have a toilet and the house for the Head Master/Centre Manager along with a kitchen. They still need to construct rooms for other teachers and the temporary shelter will be for the other children.
